DenverUrbanism provides news, ideas, and commentary about urbanism in Denver and advocates a progressive pro-urban agenda for the Mile High City.

DenverUrbanism was launched in late 2010 as a companion blog to the DenverInfill website and blog created in 2004 by Ken Schroeppel, an urban planner who lives and works in Downtown Denver (see the Contributors page for Ken’s bio).

The DenverUrbanism mission is simple:

  • To inspire Denver area citizens to envision and strive for exceptional urbanism in their city
  • To advocate for positive changes to Denver’s existing and planned built environment
  • To inform and educate the public about urban planning and development, urban design, and city-building
  • To serve as an online resource of notable Denver-area urban projects, plans, policies, and programs
